Shaykh Hassan Cisse (Allah be pleased with him) entrusted Shaykh Mouhammadou Mahy Cisse with the mission of strengthening the bonds of love among the Muslim community in America, and above all, deepening our love for Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

With Shaykh Mahy’s blessing and guidance, we are honored to carry forward this vision by establishing The Grand American Mawlid as an annual tradition.

It is our hope — and prayer — to be the generation that brings this noble gathering to full fruition in America, seeking the

special blessings that come with honoring The Beloved ﷺ together.

A NIGHT FOR THE BELOVED صلى الله عليه وسلم is a gathering of love and praise for Allah’s beloved صلى الله عليه وسلم.

As we gather in remembrance, the light of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم illuminates our path, transforming absence into presence, distance into intimacy.

The night will be filled with love poetry, salawat, and stories of the life and character of the صلى الله عليه وسلم prophet

We are blessed to have Shaykh Mahy Cisse traveling from Senegal to attend this special event. Amir Sulaiman and Angelica “Village Auntie” Lindsey-Ali will host the night’s festivities.
